Betty zorgt voor heel wat leven in huis

Natalia geeft in het bericht meteen een kleine update over de eerste weken in het gezin. “Vandaag al 3 weken een nieuwe baby in huis… Meet ‘Betty’ (Boop, for the lovers)”, schrijft ze bij haar bericht.

Een puppy in huis betekent natuurlijk heel wat verandering. Betty gaat volop op ontdekking en lijkt zich stilaan helemaal thuis te voelen. Ook voor Natalia's kinderen Apollo en Bobbi-Loua is de komst van de kleine hond duidelijk groot nieuws. Zij zijn volgens Natalia erg gelukkig met hun nieuwe speelkameraadje.

Op de foto's en beelden is Betty te zien als een kleine, nieuwsgierige puppy die haar nieuwe omgeving verder ontdekt. En zoals dat bij een puppy vaak gaat, is het moeilijk om niet meteen voor de charmes van zo'n kleine viervoeter te vallen.

Emile moest even wennen

Toch was niet iedereen meteen even enthousiast over de komst van Betty. Het gezin heeft immers al een hond: Emile. In tegenstelling tot de kleine puppy is Emile een grote hond.

“Emile was niet meteen overtuigd, but it’s getting better!”, schrijft Natalia en toont beelden van de eerste kennismaking tussen Betty en Emile en dat is vooral voor Emile nog een beetje onwennig. Dat is ook niet zo vreemd. Voor een hond kan de komst van een nieuwe puppy een grote verandering zijn. Plots moet hij zijn vertrouwde omgeving, aandacht en dagelijkse routine delen. Na drie weken lijkt Betty in elk geval steeds meer haar plaats te vinden binnen het gezin. De puppy kan volop op ontdekking gaan, terwijl ook Apollo en Bobbi-Loua zichtbaar genieten van de nieuwe aanwinst. Of Emile en Betty uiteindelijk onafscheidelijke hondenmaatjes worden, valt nog af te wachten. Voorlopig is het vooral duidelijk dat kleine Betty de harten van het gezin al heeft veroverd en ook van haar volgers.
