Winnaars Huis Gemaakt verwelkomen eerste kindje

Eros Bourgoignie en Soumaya El Khaoudi, de winnaars van het vierde seizoen van Huis Gemaakt, mochten op 19 augustus hun eerste kindje verwelkomen. Hun zoontje kreeg de naam Riad. De geboorte kreeg nog een bijzonder extra verhaal. Meaghan Slaets, die samen met Manu tijdens het programma hun tegenstander was, was namelijk de vroedvrouw bij de geboorte van Riad.

“Een vriendschap voor het leven” Meaghan Slaets

Hoewel beide koppels tijdens Huis Gemaakt concurrenten waren, groeide er naast het programma een hechte vriendschap tussen hen. Meaghan blikt op sociale media terug op hun bijzondere band. “Ooit stonden we als tegenstanders tegenover elkaar in een renovatieprogramma, met de droom om een huis te winnen. Maar wat we echt gewonnen hebben, was zoveel meer. Een vriendschap voor het leven.”

Dat ze uiteindelijk ook de vroedvrouw mocht zijn bij de geboorte van Riad, betekent volgens Meaghan bijzonder veel. “Van samen herinneringen maken tot de eer krijgen om jullie vroedvrouw te mogen zijn bij de komst van jullie prachtige Riad. Dat is iets wat ik altijd zal koesteren”, schrijft ze.

Ook Dina Tersago kreeg het bericht onder ogen en werd duidelijk geraakt door de woorden van Meaghan. De presentatrice reageerde emotioneel op de bijzondere vriendschap die uit het programma is voortgekomen. (lees verder onder de foto)

“Echt! Ik zit hier te wenen als ik deze post zie!!”, schrijft Dina. Daarna kan ze haar emoties nog steeds moeilijk bedwingen. “Sorry ik ga nog een beetje bleiten. Hoe schoon is dit!” De band tussen deelnemers kan soms veel verder gaan dan de wedstrijd zelf. Wat begon als een strijd om een huis, groeide voor beide koppels uit tot een vriendschap die nu zelfs een plaats kreeg bij een van de belangrijkste momenten in hun leven.
